Old or young, large or small: we all experience change.  Change as mentioned earlier can cause pain. However, pain is highly subjective.  What you identify as a painful experience may not be painful to me.  Is pain a verb or a noun?  What classification of pain are you experiencing:  physical, emotional, social or spiritual?  Is it acute or chronic?  What is the cause, how long has it been going on, and what about the intensity and your tolerance level?  Since we all experience pain, the question is what do we do with it?  Suffer in silence, pop a pill, scream, displace our frustration onto others, or when all else fails, give up on life.  We often ask, “Why me” or cry out, “It’s not fair.”  The situation may have occurred from your actions or the actions of others, but either way, the result, in the end, is the same.  Perhaps, this experience is your Goliath, and the goal is to learn ways to live day by day with enduring faith, persevering and becoming stronger in the midst of adversity by altering behaviors and thought processes.    What is your plan?
